I write about United States labor and employment law and policy. I’m an academic but have a working class background and spent a significant portion of my life as a blue collar worker and a union activist. I know what labor law actually is even while I’m clear about what I wish it were. Perhaps more importantly I have a sense of what agendas are behind the often unnoticed chess moves being made behind the scenes. I’m especially skeptical of the so called Gig economy.
